What is the Hella Goode Series about?
The series follows Hella Goode, a Gen X curandera-midwife who only wants to retire in the desert in her Airstream and write erotica. But Marfa has other plans. Every book brings a birth, a first date from her list of 50, and a card from the Major Arcana. The land answers her body, three ancestors weigh in whether she asks or not, and her house is reshaping itself into a birth center. Fair warning: the heat climbs. Books 1 and 2 run two peppers, and by Book 3 we're at five. Come for the divorce recovery, the desert magic, and the friendships. Stay for the DIY homesteading, hula hooping, the magic/materia and the spreadsheet where she tracks her first dates. Hella is out of spoons and ducks.
